Walgreens Deals 5-17 to 5-23
Since Walgreens has changed their program and eliminated the Rebates to just Register Rewards I have mixed feelings about it. I didn't like have to wait to get my Rebate money but I think now you have to really work the deal with Register Rewards to get the best bang for you buck. What do you think?
Here are the weekly deals:
Colgate Visible White Toothpaste $4.99

Use $1/1 Colgate PRINTABLE
FREE plus after coupon and RRs!

Get $2.50 RRs!
FREE after RRs!

Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner 2/$2.79

This is a possible deal Scenario for Walgreens:
Buy one Colgate $4.99 use $1/1 =OOP $3.99
Get $4.99 RRs
Buy one Right Guard $5.99 & 1 filler use $1/1 use $4.99 RR= OOP filler cost
Get $5 RRs
To buy one Bayer $2.50, 2 Lysol use 2 $.75/1 and 3 Mac'n Cheese use B3GO coupon =$.32 OOP.
Get $2.50 RR
To buy one Skintimate Shave Gel $1.99 use $.75/1 and buy two Reynolds Wrap $.89 use 2 In-Ad coupon and Use 2 $.55/1 and buy 2 Sure $1.99 Use 2 $1.50/1 and filler= $0 OOP and $.60 left over for filler.
Get $1 RR
Total OOP $4.31
What do you think?
The last time I was at Walgreens they had pencils in their clearance section marked down to $.09 so that is what I used for my filler.
***Filler is a small cheap item to use when you have one coupon for each item you are buying and want to pay for it with Register Rewards. Walgreens calls their Register Rewards Manufacturer coupons so you cannot have two coupons for one item, even though one of them is really a Register Rewards.*****

Thank you for the great comments, I always appreciate them. This is a family blog, and some folks seem to forget that so I had to ad word verification to keep spam at bay and moderate all comments to remove adult content that is unwelcome on my blog. Thanks for your understanding.
