Perfect timing, Perfect Weather, Sangria Recipe!

This is a great summer treat that I rarely drink for some reason and I am not sure why.  But you should really check out this recipe for Sangria!   Susieqtpies Scraps of Life has post it and as soon as I saw it I remembered how refreshing this tasted.  I am so excited to try it again!   And what great timing since strawberries and other fruit are all on sale right now!  Not to mention it is getting hot out there!  There is even an non-alcoholic version also.     CLICK HERE for the recipe.  Happy mixing!

  1. I made sangria for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was so good! The recipe I have adds amaretto to the mix, which makes it a little more expensive but very yummy. I also tried agave nectar as a sweetener instead of sugar and was happy with the results.

  2. I have used agave nectar for my coffee but nothing else because it is so expensive! Honey might work too and that is a bit more frugal than the agave nectar....Hmmmn you are making my wheels turn Bev! Thanks for the great ideas.

Thank you for the great comments, I always appreciate them. This is a family blog, and some folks seem to forget that so I had to ad word verification to keep spam at bay and moderate all comments to remove adult content that is unwelcome on my blog. Thanks for your understanding.
