  • Tim Horton’s – All US locations are offering a free donut to all veterans.
  • UNO Chicago Grill – Offering 19.43% discount to all services members and veterans with a military or veteran I.D. or in uniform.

  • The Dollar General – Veterans, service members and immediate families will receive 10% off with a Veteran’s Day coupon from store circular or sales associate.
  • Amazon – Free “Veteran’s Day Honor” MP3 album download which includes 12 songs by The Bands and Ensembles of the U.S. Armed Forces.
  • Cabela’s Outdoor Store – Offering their employee discount to all veterans, active-duty military and reserves, law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel on November 11-12th. Discounts vary from 5-50% depending on item.
  • Build-a-Bear Workshop – Armed forces members and reserves will receive 20% discount on November 11-15th on any one transaction.
  • Fashion Bug – Save 20% off all plus-size and misses clothing purchases with a copy of military ID or spouse’s military ID.
  • Sports Clips Haircuts – Free haircut to active military and veterans on Veteran’s Day.
  • Foot Locker – Veterans, Service members and immediate families with a Foot Locker Veterans Advantage Card will receive 20% every day of the year. Offer good online and at any store location and includes sale items.
  • Free car wash at select car washes across the national and international as part of Grace for Veterans on Veteran’s Day.  (also at All vets can get their car washed for free from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Redlands Canyon View Carwash, located at 2258 Broadway in Grand Junction Colorado.)
  •  Brides Across America Bridal salons unite across America for the third year to give wedding gowns to qualified military brides. Each participating store prepares a number of gowns, most of which are samples and overstocks worth between $500 and $3,000. Dresses range in size from 4 to 22 and are given away on a first-come-first-served basis. Designers who support the cause include Vera Wang, Alfred Angelo, Carolina Herrera and many other major names in bridal couture.
  • Home Depot  (EVERYDAY!) The Home Depot offers a 10-percent discount (up to a $500 maximum) to all active military, reserve, retired or disabled veterans and their family members with a valid military ID.
  •  Lowe's 10-percent military discount year-round for all active duty, National Guard and Reserve, retirees and disabled service members and their immediate families. All other veterans receive the 10-percent discount on Veteran's Day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. The discount is available on in-stock and special-order purchases of up to $5,000. The offer can't be used on sales at, on previous sales or on sales of services or gift cards. You must present a valid military I.D. card to receive this special discount.
