Budgets!

If you are starting to think about this new year and what you can accomplish with it then maybe you should see where you are at with your budget.

Maybe it is time to redo your budget, at the begining of a fresh new year is the perfect time to do it!

Or if you have never started a budget, this is a good time to make a resolution to do so!

I decided to revise our budget and I found some Free budgets online that you may want to consider using for you family.

This also will help us keep on track with the January Money Diet that I am about to embark upon, a month-long break from nonessential spending.

If you want to have a good idea what you spend each month here and there you can grab you check book register, or your bank statement. There you will see what went to gas, food, mortgage, utilities, entertainment, clothes, and the big one that everyone hates the stupid misc. category where you bought something you shouldn't have, or you can see exactly how much you are giving each month to fast food and Starbucks.

It is a good idea to take a look at your previous bank statements, so you can see how much money you are wasting and how wonderful it would be to know exactly where you money is going.

You can make you own budget on a piece of paper and you don't need a fancy worksheet. But sometimes the ease of using a pre-made worksheet helps use actually DO a budget. Sometimes the act of actually DOING is the hardest part.

Happy Budgeting!

The budgeting worksheets below are all free. Some will require some sort of Microsoft Office program, or you can use OpenOffice (basically a free version of Microsoft Office) or Google Docs.

Dave Ramsey's three FREE downloadable Budget Forms (Awhhhhhhh Dave Ramsey love his financial advice!) Dave says "When you spend your money on paper and on purpose each month with a written budget, you'll actually experience more freedom than before! "

If you know of a great budget worksheet that is free to download/Print or basically use then please leave a comment below and share with us!

Thank you for the great comments, I always appreciate them. This is a family blog, and some folks seem to forget that so I had to ad word verification to keep spam at bay and moderate all comments to remove adult content that is unwelcome on my blog. Thanks for your understanding.
