Straight Talk

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hook, line and sinker

OK so I know I have talked to you about Straight Talk before but I really like the NO contracts and BIG savings part you get from them.

I used to be anchored down with a two year service contract from a few of the big named cell phone service providers and I was never happy.

With Straight Talk, (yes I do use them) I feel like I am so much richer!  I know I am saving money because my service is only $30 per month!  That is the bottom line too; I don’t pay more except for sales tax.

With those other providers they suckered me in with only $45 per month for 300 minutes and 300 texts.  Then I would get the bill and find that that was the beginning cost what they added on in fees and taxes usually brought my bill up by $20 more dollars!  Then there was the time that I went to my Mom’s house for a week and didn’t know I was roaming the whole time and went over my minutes.  That was crazy; my bill was close to my car payment at the time!

You don’t get that with Straight Talk.  They have two plans you can choose from:

The “All You Need Plan” (is the one I am using now,) and it gives you 1000 minutes, 1000 texts and 30 MB of web.  I have only went over once with this and it was when I was on hold and with another company for two and half hours.   But I was not charged extra when I went over I just could not make any more phone calls until I purchased another new month of service.  I could have continued and finished out the month I had left with only text and web if I wanted to.  I just had to start my month early.  That is better than a surprise bill that is not in your budget.

They also have an unlimited plan that is only $45 a month for unlimited talk, text and web.  If I know I am going to be on the phone more often that month I go ahead and get that plan.

Now this is why I love Straight Talk, when my husband was on a temporary lay-off of work for three months we decided we couldn’t warrant paying for a cell phone during that time so we did not renew his service when it expired that month.  Then when he went back to work we bought at new card and called to reactivate his phone.  NO RE-ACTIVATION FEE!  NO Termination Fee!

I have told you before that I am so happy with Straight Talk I talked my Mom, Dad and two children into switching to them.  That was easy too and they got to keep their old cell number when they did it.

You can buy reconditioned cell phones from them online starting at $10!  The reconditioned cell phones are almost new looking and they come with a 1 year warranty!  They have cool ones too, like the ones your kids would love!  For more information on what these phones offer check out this video:Really if you are stuck in a contract with your current cell phone company you should call them and see how much it would cost you to get out of it.  If it is less than what you would pay for two months of service currently I would suggest you pay it and get shed of them.  Think of how much you could save!  I am not the only one who feels this strongly about Straight Talk:

Think of all the money you could save each month if you had a Straight Talk phone!  I know that every penny counts and it is good not to have to be tied down to a contract.  With this economy you never know what the next day will bring.
