Free Tutorial, Great Idea, Cash Envelope System Saves the Green!


I have mentioned Dave Ramsey before on this blog.  Dave has a great cash envelope system that is a smart way to save and keep track of your green.   Basically you take all of your cash for the month and put it in envelopes you have designated for certain budget items.

Like:
Week 1 groceries
Week 2 Gas
Week 2 Dry Cleaning
Week 3 Fun
Week 4 Lunch
Week 4 Haircuts

This envelope system can help you keep on track with that dirty word, BUDGET!  

I happened upon a way to make it even easier and well, prettier too!  

Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs has a free tutorial to make these fabulous envelopes that are fashionable and functional all at the same time!  You can make this set of envelopes and put them in your wallet.   I love the idea and thought maybe I could make it even more frugal by re-purposing some 2011 calendars or Christmas  Cards too!   The dollar stores have scrap book paper too if you are determined to have it super cute!
