Christmas is coming!

I know if you are like me then you don't want to be broke and completely crazy with so many things to do and see in December. So in my quest to be less broke and more organized I have been working harder and harder to get ahead and get organized!

That being said I just finished doing all of my Christmas cards. I have signed and addressed each and everyone. This is an attempt to save time in December.

I have a few other ideas about getting ahead of the sleigh too and I will be sharing them with you as the days draw nearer and nearer to DECEMBER!

If you have any ideas on how to get ahead of the holiday rush let me know!

  2. Marilyn I really feel the love here...lol. I posted this not to make you jealous but for you to jump on the organized band wagon with me so we can haul butt and get ahead of that dang Santa! So make your list, and check it twice...even if it is just a list of people you want to send Christmas cards to!

    Thanks!

  3. I have the hardest time doing anything for Christmas until I see some snow! BUT - this year I am tryng to work ahead a little bit on these "care packages" I give my kids. When they hit college I decided they had outgrown the Christmas stocking thing and started giving them a gift bag instead full of shampoo, razors, deodorant, etc. (stuff college kids needed). This year I'm trying to stock up on some of those great Walgreens deals on that kind of stuff so I can save some bucks. I look at your Walgreen post every Sunday now. Thanks for all you do!

  4. Thank you Bev! That is a really smart gift! Everyone needs those personal care items and Walgreens has some awesome deals.

When my daughter comes home from college she always "goes shopping" and she raids my bathroom and pantry supplies. Because I am always stocked up.

I also recently hosted a baby shower and used some of those great deals as prizes for all the games.

The photo books and photo deals Walgreens has is a great gift idea too. I made a nice photo book of really old photos of my mother-in-laws mother and father for her for Christmas. Check that is one gift down!

Thanks again Bev love your post on the knitty little dish cloth too!

Thank you for the great comments, I always appreciate them. This is a family blog, and some folks seem to forget that so I had to ad word verification to keep spam at bay and moderate all comments to remove adult content that is unwelcome on my blog. Thanks for your understanding.
